For example a typical 1200 wide x 1800 high swing gate with 40mm gaps and built Vertical slats and in Black, white or Dark grey would be $905.  That works out at $419 per SQM. This is a Cut to Size then flat packed as a DIY kit

The multi-purpose  top and bottom rail that we have developed have holes pre-punched every 40mm to give you a prefect vertical system that you can do DIY in any width or height that your job requires. These 2 horizontal rails per gate allow the batten facade to cleverly fit over the gate frame to give more batten coverage.

Select your between each batten width to get an accurate Quote.  Obviously the closer the battens the more privacy but also the more aluminum is used so higher the price:

• Connecting your battens every 80mm will leave gaps between slats of 40mm
• Connecting your battens every 120mm will leave gaps between slats of 80mm
• Connecting your battens on the 160mm will leave gaps between slats of 120mm
• We quote these gaps as we use pre-drilled rails so easier for DIY, if you want to freestyle your own gaps then don't use our holes in the rails and do any gaps.
• Our 40mm battens will be flat on the face, but on the sides there may be small random V-Grooves to strengthen the batten

The slat battens are 40mm x 40mm, so they will protrude out past the Horizontal rail by 40mm and then the 50mm gaye frame, so total deprh of a gate is 130mm.  The screw connection system is super strong with our internal ribs inside the battens and the extrusion has been tested and when fitted is as strong as welding.

The battens and rails come in 3 colours; Satin Black, Dark Grey (like Monument) or Gloss White.

You can build your gates between Aluminium posts or your own brick piers or other post material like timber or steel. 

Our Pivot hinges need a 25mm gap and most locks need a 20mm gap so adjust your gate frame to suit if using my hardware

We carry 76x76mm or 100x100 Aluminium Posts here so adjust gate frame width if also needing posts.

• Plugs provided for excess holes in horizontal rail.  Half of our customers do not use them. Either black or white

What you should know:

- Payment of $100 needs to be made for any custom orders for each panel

- We cut Tuesdays and Thursday each week so have orders in before that

- Protective sheets will be left on the material for you to remove.

- Allow 3-6mm difference in final sizes

- When we quote you slat gaps (40mm or 80mm or 120mm) this will be the gap between the SQUARE 40X40 BATTENS.  The batten and gap may not divide equally into your width so we will advise what that gap is when we give you the installation instructions for the first and last gaps. Or ask us prior to the order.

**We use backload trucks for most of the above and usually do all drops in other country towns we pass but following that main highway.  Sometimes these deliveries will be after hours
