HOW TO GET A FAST PRICE

4. Choose approximately 15mm, 55mm or 95mm gaps between the pickets
5. Standard individual panel widths are normally up to approximately 3000mm
6. For a seamless look, rails can run up to approximately 5400mm wide, but a suitable supporting post is still required behind the rail

HOW OUR DIY PICKET SYSTEM WORKS
Our specially developed top and bottom rails have holes pre-punched every 40mm, creating a simple DIY vertical aluminium picket system that can be custom made to suit almost any fence width or height.
Each panel uses 2 horizontal rails. The fixing screws sit inside the rails and connect directly into the reinforcing ribs inside each aluminium picket.
An aluminium cover then clips over the horizontal rail to conceal the screw fixings, giving the finished fence a clean and professional appearance. ```

65 x 16mm ALUMINIUM PICKETS
Our vertical aluminium pickets are 65mm wide x 16mm deep.
Each picket contains 2 internal reinforcing ribs to provide additional strength and a solid connection point for the supplied fasteners.
Each picket is connected using 4 fasteners across the top and bottom rails.
Being aluminium means NO RUSTING, excellent durability and very little ongoing maintenance. ```

CHOOSE YOUR GAP BETWEEN PICKETS
You choose the spacing between each 65mm picket. Smaller gaps provide greater privacy but use more aluminium, so the final price will be higher.

SIMPLE DIY INSTALLATION
1. Connect the top and bottom 40 x 40mm rails to your posts or piers using the supplied brackets.
2. Use the spacing sheet supplied with your order to determine which pre-punched hole your first picket starts from. It may not be the first visible hole.
3. Decide where the horizontal rails will intersect the pickets. A typical position is approximately 10% of the overall picket height from the top and bottom.
4. For example, with a 1200mm high picket, the rails would normally sit approximately 120mm from the top and 120mm from the bottom.
5. Measure and mark each picket so the horizontal rails remain straight and level.
6. Screw through the pre-punched rail hole into the internal rib of the aluminium picket.
7. Install a second self-tapping screw beside the pre-punched fixing to complete the connection.
8. Continue along the top rail using the spacing information supplied with your order.
9. Once the top is completed, secure the bottom rail while keeping the panel firm, square and evenly spaced.
10. Fit the aluminium rail covers over the horizontal rails to conceal the screw fixings.
11. Fit the plastic caps to the top and bottom of each picket. ```
