How Our Slat Kits Work

• You locate one of our standard panels or models from this website. We offer more than 35 different slat styles.
• Your order is cut to size, supplied in kit form and flat packed for you to assemble and install yourself.
• Our 40mm, 65mm and 100mm aluminium slats, blades or battens have exclusive double internal ribs for extra strength.
• 8 colours are kept in stock and vary depending on the width of the slat.

How We Do Fast Quotes

• SMS your panel sizes together with the model name, website link or screenshot to 0414 237 573 and we will usually provide pricing overnight.
• Send the clear opening sizes between your posts. Each description will show the maximum width, so please read the listing first.
• Fence panels are usually between 2200mm and 3000mm wide, but we can custom cut to suit your job.
• Swing gates are usually a maximum width of 2500mm, but we can custom cut to suit your job.
• Sliding gates can be made up to approximately 6000mm wide.
• We do not carry out site inspections or installations.
• Our internal quoting system can provide fast pricing when we are online, and quotes are always handled overnight.
• We cut slats on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so please have your order in at least the day before.
• We cut every job within 48 working hours, which we have been doing for over 12 years.

Basic Fence & Screen Installation Example

• Concrete our posts into the ground, or bolt them to concrete using base plates, where suitable for the installation.
• You can also use your own existing posts or building structure, provided they are suitable for the intended installation.
• Attach an F-channel to the inside centre of each post.
• Insert the first slat, level it, then fix it through the concealed screw section.
• Use our free gap inserts for 0mm, 10mm, 16mm or 40mm gaps.
• Insert the next slat and continue the same process.
• Add the cover strip over the F-channel to conceal screws.
• Add black caps to the top of the F-channel to finish the job neatly.
• For spans over 1800mm, add a rear U-channel brace. This is included in many DIY kits.
• As our products are hand measured and cut, allow a general cutting tolerance of 3–6mm.

Our service is simple. We supply aluminium components cut to the measurements you provide, then flat packed for you to assemble and install yourself. This allows us to offer competitive factory-direct pricing without the additional costs of site visits, professional fabrication or installation services.

Measurements & Product Fit

All measurements are supplied by the customer. We do not attend sites, check measurements, survey properties or independently verify that the dimensions provided are suitable for a particular opening or installation.

Our products are cut aluminium components and DIY kits. They are not individually designed, fabricated or engineered to suit every possible building application, site condition or construction method.

As our aluminium components are hand measured and cut, a general cutting tolerance of 3–6mm may apply. Customers should consider normal cutting tolerances and allow appropriate installation clearances when supplying measurements.

Product Suitability & Installation

We provide general product information and recommended maximum widths in our website descriptions. These are general supply guidelines and should not be interpreted as engineering certification or confirmation that a product is suitable for every installation.

We can cut components to alternative measurements requested by customers, subject to our manufacturing capabilities. However, supplying a requested size does not mean we have assessed or approved that size for its intended application.

Customers are responsible for confirming that the selected products, dimensions, fixing methods, supports and installation arrangements are appropriate for their project.

Building Codes, Plans & Engineering

As a DIY component supplier, we do not review building plans, architectural drawings, engineering drawings, site photographs or project specifications to determine compliance with building regulations.

We do not provide structural engineering, engineering calculations, building approvals, compliance certificates, certification forms or site-specific design services.

We do not assess individual projects against the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, local council requirements or other applicable building regulations.

If your project requires engineering, building approval, certification or compliance assessment, please engage a suitably qualified builder, engineer or building certifier and obtain the necessary advice and approvals before ordering.

This is particularly important for applications such as balustrades, pool fencing, elevated installations, structural barriers and other regulated building work.

Customer Responsibilities

Before ordering, customers should confirm their measurements, selected product style, intended application, installation method and any applicable approval or compliance requirements.

Any drawings, photographs or information sent to us are generally used to assist with product identification and quoting. They are not independently checked or approved as construction plans or engineering specifications.

Customers are responsible for arranging appropriate installation and any professional assessment required for their particular project.

• $350 flat rate to Sydney, Rockhampton and stops on the way.
• $450 flat rate to Melbourne, Townsville and stops on the way.
• We are Australia-wide shippers and we wrap and ship to around 30 customers each week, with parcels going all over Australia. Just ask us for a freight quote once you send the panel sizes so we can determine the weight and price.
