STAIRS & RAKED PANELS

We also supply swivel angle brackets for stairs and raked balustrade sections. Please see our other listings to view how these brackets work.

We do NOT cut angled panels at the factory. Instead, provide sizes for an oversized rectangle panel that gives enough width and height so you can trim the angles yourself during installation.

All components fit back into the brackets or extrusion channels so you never see a raw cut edge, making it perfect for DIY installations.

Please let us know how many stair/raked panel brackets are required when requesting your quote.

Recommended Widths

Because this is a concealed slot-in system, we generally recommend panels stay under 2200mm wide.

For wider panels, some DIY customers have internally screwed selected slats or added extra support screws. We are DIY panel cutters and cannot advise whether those methods are suitable for your specific job.

Simple DIY Installation

1. Attach the bottom rail brackets to the internal face of each post
2. Insert the first custom spacer
3. Insert the first slat
4. Continue alternating spacers and slats
5. Gently fit the top handrail over the slats
6. Secure the handrail brackets
7. Insert the top rail spacers

Matching aluminium posts are approximately $40 per lineal metre.
Concrete post base plates are approximately $35 each.

Important Order Information

• $100 deposit required for custom local pickup orders
• Custom orders are generally cut within 48 hours
• Orders are then wrapped and shipped approximately 1–2 days after cutting
• Protective sheets are left on the material for you to remove
• Please allow 3–6mm difference in final sizes
• Gap sizes refer to the space between the slats only

The slat and gap may not divide equally into your total width. If this happens, the first and last gaps near the posts may be slightly larger. Ask us before ordering if you need to know those exact edge gap sizes.
