How Our Slat Kits Work

• You locate one of our standard panels or models from this website and we make more than 35 different slat styles.
• Your order is cut to size, supplied in kit form and flat packed for you to assemble and install yourself.
• Our 40mm, 65mm and 100mm aluminium slats, blades or battens have exclusive double internal ribs for extra strength.
• 8 colours are kept in stock and vary depending on the width of the slat.

How We Do Fast Quotes

• SMS your panel sizes together with the model name, website link or screenshot to 0414 237 573 and we will usually provide pricing overnight.
• Send the clear opening sizes between your posts. Each description will show the maximum width, so please read the listing first.
• Fence panels are usually between 2200mm and 3000mm wide, but we can custom cut to suit your job.
• Swing gates are usually a maximum width of 2500mm, but we can custom cut to suit your job.
• Sliding gates can be made up to approximately 6000mm wide.
• We do not do site inspections and we do not install.
• Our internal quoting system can give you fast pricing when we are online, and quotes are always handled overnight.
• We cut slats on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so please have your order in at least the day before.
• We cut every job within 48 working hours, which we have been doing for over 12 years.

Basic Fence & Screen Installation Example

• Concrete our posts into the ground, or bolt them to concrete using base plates.
• You can also use your own existing posts or building structure.
• Attach an F-channel to the inside centre of each post.
• Insert the first slat, level it, then fix it through the concealed screw section.
• Use our free gap inserts for 0mm, 10mm, 16mm or 40mm gaps.
• Insert the next slat and continue the same process.
• Add the cover strip over the F-channel to conceal screws.
• Add black caps to the top of the F-channel to finish the job neatly.
• For spans over 1800mm, add a rear U-channel brace. This is included in many DIY kits.
• As our products are hand measured and cut, allow a general tolerance of 3–6mm.

• Can be used horizontally or vertically.
• Free gap inserts for 0mm, 10mm, 16mm or 40mm gaps.
• Merbau and Red Cedar come in gloss woodgrain finish.
• White, Deep Ocean, Paperbark Cream and Shale Grey are gloss finish.
• Black and Dark Grey are matt/satin finish.
